Reservation Policy

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

MACHUPICCHU 2 YOU, also known as the Company in this document, wants you to enjoy your holidays in Peru to the fullest, so we recommend you read carefully and obey the instructions of your sales agent.

MACHUPICCHU 2 YOU is considered one of the safe agencies in Cusco.

Please, read carefully the following conditions, since it is your contract with MACHUPICCHU 2 YOU, when booking a trip with MACHUPICCHU 2 YOU, you accept that you will be bound by these Terms and Conditions, which describe, among other things, our policy of cancellation and certain limitations of liability at the time of making your reservation.

The appointment given by us will be valid once the reservation is confirmed, from which you will be able to ask all the questions regarding your holidays, MACHUPICCHU 2 YOU will be happy to answer all the questions for you. Budgets do not apply to international flights to and from Peru. If you want us to help you on international flights or within Peru, the flight must be paid immediately and purchased on the same day or, if possible, on the following day to ensure the validity of the offer, since the prices vary from one day to another.

Our prices do not include, meals not specified in your itinerary, personal expenses, personal insurance, and luggage transport.

1. The contract

The contract is between MACHUPICCHU 2 YOU (also known as the company) and the client, who is the person who travels or intends to travel on a tour operated by the company. You, the client are subject to having read and understood our travel policy as indicated below. By making a reservation by phone, or through the website, or by email or fax, you agree to and are bound by these Terms and Conditions. These Terms and Conditions constitute the entire agreement between the Company and the Client in relation to the subject matter herein, and shall constitute a binding agreement. There is no verbal or written representation, warranty, warranty agreement, prior agreement, description of services, or conditions or any promise of reimbursement that is not expressed herein. The service that must be provided is / are the tour (s) mentioned in the reservation confirmation.

These conditions only apply to the services in our program and not to international and domestic flights. These are subject to the conditions imposed by the airlines.

2. Securing your reservation

To guarantee the reservation, MACHUPICCHU 2 YOU requires a completed reservation form (either from our website or sent by us with your quote), along with the payment of the necessary deposit. The prudent time to make your reservation is 30 days before your trip to Peru, a reservation is accepted and becomes final only from the date you deposit it and at that moment there is a contract. MACHUPICCHU 2 YOU reserves the right to refuse any reservation at its discretion.

3. Customer information

To confirm and guarantee to Clients the organization of the trip, the client must provide all their identity data with the initial payment or no later than 30 days before the start of the trip. Customer details include passport number, copy of passport data and medical form (if applicable), full name, date of birth, international flight information and nationality, case or mobile phone number for any emergency.

4. The final payment / Surcharges

In order for the company to confirm and guarantee to Clients their organization of their trip, the client must provide all customer data with their final payment at the start of the Tour.

Surcharges: To avoid surcharges on your vacations, make your reservation in advance, do not change hotels at the last moment.

5. If you change your reservation

An administration fee of US $ 50. per person will be charged if the confirmed reservation is changed or transferred to a different departure date or tour, up to 30 days before your trip. Thereafter all changes will be treated as cancellations and subject to charges as follows.

If a client is unable to travel, and he mentions us about 20 days in advance, in circumstances that MACHUPICCHU 2 YOU considers reasonable, then the reservation may be transferred to another suitable person, or his money will be returned less 20% since 10% goes in money transfer payments and the other 10% are administrative expenses, your money will be returned in less than 15 days.

6. Changes

The company reserves the right to modify any of the facilities, services or prices described in the brochure or web page. If this change is made, the client will be informed at the time of making the reservation or when the change occurs. Although the company will endeavor to operate all tours since the announced, reasonable changes in the itinerary can be made when deemed necessary or convenient by the Company due to external factors that are not the company’s responsibility.

7. Cancellation by the Company

MACHUPICCHU 2 YOU reserves the right to cancel any trip before the execution is guaranteed, but will not cancel the trip less than 30 days before departure. Your trip is guaranteed to work unless the minimum number indicates otherwise or by factors outside the control of MACHUPICCHU 2 YOU This applies to exits within the brochure validity range.

Note: airlines can impose 100% cancellation fees.

8. Complaints

If the client has a complaint about any of the tour arrangements, it is a condition of the contract that he / she tells our local representative at that time. If you do not complain at that time, if you later deny us the opportunity to investigate and rectify the problem and thus make MACHUPICCHU 2 YOU can not accept any responsibility. If the client has a dispute with MACHUPICCHU 2 YOU and can not resolve it, please write to us within 28 days of your return and we will continue investigating.

9. Travel and cancellation insurance

Travel insurance is highly recommended for all customers who book we recommend that you should cover personal injuries, medical expenses, repatriation expenses, evacuation costs, cancellation and reduction. It is our policy to check the validity and coverage of your insurance policy and we reserve the right to refuse transportation to any person whose insurance does not meet these criteria. 10. Medical Form

For insurance purposes all customers are required to complete our MACHUPICCHU 2 YOU form, which must be signed and dated by a medical practitioner (if there are pre-existing conditions) and sent to us no later than 15 days before the start of your trip.

11. Financial Security

MACHUPICCHU 2 YOU is an accredited travel agency Ministry of Tourism and registered as a corporation of the Ministries of the Tourism Office of Peru. MACHUPICCHU 2 YOU complies with current European regulations regarding the protection of customer’s money.

12. Customers responsibility

The client agrees to accept the authority and decisions of MACHUPICCHU 2 YOU employees, tour leaders and agents while he is on vacation. If in the opinion of these people, the health or behavior of a client at any time, before or after departure seems to endanger the progress of safety, comfort or tranquility of the tour, the client may be excluded from the entire or part of the tour.

Clients must be in possession of their respective identity documents, and are responsible for the carrying of a valid visa passport, if applicable, and the required vaccination certificates for the entire trip. Your passport must be valid for 6 months after the return date.

15. Our responsibilities

Reservations are accepted on the understanding that they appreciate the possible risks inherent in adventure trips and that visits, excursions or expeditions, which appear in our programs, are made at their own will. The company requires to provide their services with the necessary diligence, so that the entire trip goes perfectly, we will endeavor to serve you as best as possible.

The Company assumes no responsibility for force majeure, weather phenomena or natural phenomena that may occur before or during the trip, or for any eventuality that may make any trip uncomfortable or difficult, or for any delay or obstruction of your trip in any way and does not guarantee the failure on the part of the company, either for the total or partial execution of the provision of the services that the Company has committed to provide which may have been affected by the aforementioned factors.

16. Flights / Delays

We can not accept any responsibility for cancellations or delays in any of your flights, if the cancellation or delay is due to adverse weather conditions, the reprogramming of the airline, the airport of authority and / or the action of air traffic controllers, mechanical failures or industrial action.

Our company will endeavor to solve your travel itinerary, and any inconvenience will be solved and nothing will be affected by the air delays.

The Client must understand and be flexible if due to air delays the problems can not be solved.

17. Children’s Policy

In all programs, unless otherwise indicated, a child’s maximum age is 8 years. Older than 8 years are considered adults and will be subject to adult fees.

18. Last minute bookings

For all reservations made within 10 days of departure, there will be a fee of USD $ 50.00 charged to the file. This Last Minute fee covers our additional costs for Hotel providers, Train Ticket, Bus Ticket and operating expenses.
